Who We Are

Traverse Image is a full-service film production company based out of Colorado.

What does Traverse Do?

We offer the full production package directly to our clients. While we specialize in documentary filmmaking, we offer media packages and still photography services. Our production services bring each and every project from preproduction to production and post-production. We own all of our gear and our crew works with us on every project. The work that we produce delivers the highest level of quality, consistency, and creativity on each project.

Our Process

Traverse Image works with and helps tell the stories of over 30 clients in Colorado and throughout the Rocky Mountain West. We are deeply passionate about collaborating with like-minded brands to collaborate together to produce original branded content and media packages. Our client list spans the core culture of the outdoors in Colorado, from outdoor recreation brands, to craft breweries and distilleries, lifestyle agencies, tourism and convention bureaus, and corporate brands.

We do things a little different here at Traverse. 

We have an unwavering love and passion for non-fiction filmmaking, and in the doc style world, crews are smaller, roles are shared, and everyone works closely together to allow a real story to take shape in front of the cameras. 

You won’t see large crews that stack up budgets at Traverse. You won’t find us working with ad agencies. We want to build long lasting relationships, get to know your story, because we believe that’s how you make the images and films. 

You’ll find our small team our crew dedicated to telling, and crafting the image. We love a good character driven film, one that speaks to the deepest corners of humanity. A story that is hard-won, with calloused hands, that speaks to the humanity and the overcomings of conflicts to achieve that alluring dream. 

We believe in community, creativities, consistently and campfires as a way to move our process from writing and cinematic design to delivery. We love our clients like family, and who doesn’t love a big happy family. That’s what we strive for, to make our clients happy. 

Films have the power to inspire monumental change. We are in love in with the craft of filmmaking. The next film we make will always be the best, and there is always something we can improve upon from our last production. We alway want to make sure that the light, shadow, movement, mood, tone, pace, tension, suspense, build, and color makes an audience feel something.
