Shitbag is the story of a US Army veteran. Upon returning home from Iraq, he finds himself haunted by the atrocities he committed as a  sniper. However,  on a backcountry trip into the wilderness of Colorado, he seeks to overcome the demons caused by those traumatic memories. A short film by Traverse Image.

Like so many Americans, veterans count on our national public lands for fishing, hiking, camping and hunting. Some veterans turn to the outdoors to heal from the trauma of war and renew bonds with family members after long deployments.
