Field Season Season 1 Is Live — Our Latest Show + Biggest Project to Date
Field Season Season 1 Is Live
Want to see what we are working on at our sister company, Traverse Cinema Studio. We’re excited to share that Field Season Season 1 is now live on YouTube. This series is our biggest project to date and marks nearly two years of development, writing, filming, and experimentation to bring it out of development and into the world.
Field Season grew naturally out of our curiosity while making Fossilist, our feature-length documentary currently in post-production, and our continued time working alongside paleontologists in the field. We wanted to stay immersed in that world and keep following the kind of expeditions that don’t resolve neatly within a single film. What began as a feature documentary perspective expanded into something more ongoing—documenting real fieldwork as it happens, across multiple locations, with outcomes that are never guaranteed.
At its core, Field Season is an adventure series following paleontologist Andre Lujan and his crew as they chase the next possible discovery. Season 1 spans six separate digs across ten episodes.
Releasing Field Season on YouTube is intentional. It allows us to share the project early, involve audiences in its growth, and learn what resonates as the series moves toward full production. New episodes drop every two weeks on Thursdays on the Traverse Cinema Studio YouTube channel. More information about the series can be found at fieldseasonshow.com.
